Mortgage Marketing Insiders Gets Your More Mortgage LeadsI love marketing, and I especially enjoy mortgage marketing.  However, of all the marketing techniques out there, my favorite are the ones that can be implemented within an hour.  The reason is, if you put in just an hour into these methods, you can almost instantly start getting results that can turn into more closed loans.

By far, ones of the quickest and easiest mortgage marketing methods is what I call the “Urgency Attractor Method.” The Urgency Attractor Method is basically an email or letter that’s sent out to your past clients letting them know there is something urgent that you need to talk to them about.

So, it could be some breaking news such as rates dropping or the latest change in underwriting guidelines, or perhaps its even a new mortgage program that a lender just launched.

The truth is, everything you take for granted as a mortgage insider is breaking news for your customers.  So, the method is simple.  All you need to do is write to them and let them know about this urgent thing.  Here’s the secret though; you talk very vaguely about the “news” but you get deep into the problem facing people that don’t know about it.

So with the example of a new credit law that allows people to clear their credit much easier, you can easily implement the Urgency Attractor Method.  You send them a letter, and you let them know that you absolutely need to talk to them or set up an appointment to be certain they can avoind the problems faced by people who don’t know the news.

Once you speak to them, you find out what their current needs are and show them how the news can dramatically improve their financial situation while keeping them from being hurt by not implementing the change.

Then, before you finish your conversation with them, you ask them “Who else do you know who is absolutely must be informed about this important news?”  Then just be ready to receive a flood of referrals.

Again, the two benefits of the Urgency Attractor Method is that it gives your customers an urgent need to get in touch with you and it creates urgency for them to refer others to you so they can avoid the pitfall caused by not knowing the news!
